Following the Government’s announcement of Lockdown 2.0 to stem the Covid pandemic, we do with regret have to close the club from 5 November for shooting and any other activities.  The current lockdown is planned to be lifted by the Government on 2 December although depending on the circumstances nearer that date it could be extended further.

Our sport has been specifically mentioned in the latest rules as one which can not be performed during this second lockdown.  ArcheryGb are currently lobbying to allow outdoor and field archery to continue during the next 4 weeks.  Whilst this is happening, and if you’d like to, please help by signing the PETITION  from UK active demanding emergency support to help grass roots sports survive.

All ages from 10 years and up are welcome; we have many junior, teen, adult and senior members.

Club members shoot all year around, spring, summer, autumn and winter – weather permitting. We even have a frostbite challenge which gives you some indication of the hardiness of our members.

The club is affiliated to our national governing body Archery GB (formerly Grand National Archery Society – GNAS) and through them our international body – World Archery (WA).

Members shoot mainly recurve bows and longbows – although other traditional bows are also used and some compound bows are shot in the indoor season.

From Easter until September the club runs beginners’ courses for all ages 10 and up.

Please use the menus above to find your way around our site. If you would like more information on any aspect of our sport please don’t hesitate to contact us.
