Private Tuition - Terms & Conditions
- At any archery event safety is our prime concern. If, in the opinion of your coach, anything happens to compromise the safety of your session your coach may suspend or cancel the session with immediate effect.
- Anyone appearing to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to shoot and no refunds will be given.
- Some facial piercings can get caught in a shot with catastrophic consequences. Anyone who is unable or unwilling to remove a piercing when advised to do so by a coach will not be allowed to shoot.
- Archery is a physical sport which places stresses and loads on the body like any other sport. Anyone participating who has joint or muscle problems (especially in the upper body) must tell one of the coaches taking the session. In circumstances where the coach feels that taking part may cause further injury, or worsen an existing complaint, the coach will have no option other than to prevent that individual from taking part.
- All private events must be paid for in full before they begin.
- For some events, a non-refundable deposit will be required.
- If you discover that you cannot attend your session please make every effort to contact your coach as far in advance as possible.
- In the event that your coach cannot be at your lesson every effort will be made to find a substitute coach. If a substitute cannot be found you may cancel or postpone your lesson. Any monies paid in advance will be refunded if you wish.
- A local school has the right to use our ground at very short notice. They exercise this right very rarely and when they do they usually provide us with plenty of notice. In the unlikely event that they do wish to use the ground when you have a session scheduled your session will have to be be postponed - or cancelled if you prefer. Every effort will be made to avoid a wasted journey, but this cannot be guaranteed.
